Prior to the corona virus pandemic Women with Hope met weekly at Selly Oak Quaker Meeting House, 930 Bristol Rd, Selly Oak, Birmingham B29 6NB. We hope to return there once it is safe to do so.
After a few weeks without meetings we recommenced meeting by Zoom on the same day: Tuesday and at the same time: 12 midday until 1.30 pm .
Our meetings are a combination of relaxation activities, celebrations and opportunities to share joys and anxieties together with relevant learning activities. Recent learning activities have included Mental health issues, Human rights applications for asylum and Housing and the Home office regulations.
When we are all able to meet again and we shall also resume our former activities of cooking, knitting, singing and dancing, which have always been so much enjoyed.
